Overview
Ghangad is Located around 30KM from Lonavla-Khandala, Ghangad is one of the famous forts among trekkers from Mumbai and Pune. For a long time, Ghangad was one of the difficult treks because of the rock wall that needed technical climbing. But, after installation of a steel ladder, this fort has been accessible to all trek lovers.
Over 300 years old, this fort was used to hold the prisoners and also as a watch tower to keep control on the movements on nearby trade routes.
Though this fort is small, the trek includes all types of terrain which makes it very interesting, and the 360 degree view from the top is simply fabulous.

Day 00: Saturday
- 11.00 PM - Travel start from SGNP borivali, Mumbai by private bus
- Pickup location : Borivali - Jogeshwari - Andheri - Bandra - Sion - Chembur - Vashi - Panvel
Day 01st: Sunday
- 06.00 AM - Breakfast at Ghangad Base Village.
- 07.00 AM - Introduction and Start trek.
- 09.00 AM - Summit Ghangad and Explore fort.
- 11.30 AM - Start Descend towards the base village.
- 01.00 PM - Have lunch and Start return journey towards Mumbai.
- 06.00 PM – Reach Mumbai (Approx)
